Wholesome Wave Benefit

We are grateful to all who supported our inaugural Wholesome Wave benefit, at the Yale Club on April 20. Our gala was a celebration of mentorship and raised over $100,000 for our work nationwide. We honored Founder & CEO Michel Nischan’s mentors Jacques Pépin and the late Michael Batterberry, raised funds for a C-CAP scholar, and each guest chef brought a sous chef/mentee to share unique hors d’oevres before dinner. We featured local, sustainable cuisine and debuted Wholesome Wave’s private label wine, 2012 ONEHOPE Edna Valley Pinot Noir with limited-edition label artwork by Jacques Pépin. The event also included a live auction hosted by Billy Harris.

Celebrity chefs Seamus Mullen, Carmen Quagliata, Michel Nischan, Tyler Florence & Jacques Torres prepared dinner. Drinks by Steve Olson.
